Text to Handwriting is an entirely client-side application running inside your web browser sandbox. Your typed text, custom uploaded font files, and generated PDF/PNG documents never leave your computer.
1. Data Storage & Processing
All text processing, character-by-character canvas rendering, Hinglish-to-Devanagari transliteration, custom font loading, and PDF generation take place locally within your browser using JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas API. We operate no backend servers or database stores for user data.
2. Browser Storage (Auto-Save)
Your current document, settings, uploaded fonts, uploaded paper textures and inserted images are auto-saved in your browser's own storage (IndexedDB; theme and favourite papers use localStorage) so they survive page refreshes. This data never leaves your device and can be removed at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
3. Third-Party Services
All handwriting fonts (including open-source Google Fonts) are self-hosted on this website via next/font, so no font requests are sent to Google or any other third party.
